Best thing we ordered. Located right on Bowens Wharf in the heart of downtown Newport RI. I had the barbacoa burrito, which was also excellent. COCKTAILS/BEER GLUTEN/VEGAN MENU . Each chip has plenty of chicken and cheese! "We are a West Coast Style Mexican Restaurant. Monday — Friday 11am — Late Saturday — Sunday 9am — 11pm. We had gluten free vegan nachos- best we’ve ever had including regular nachos.

Very positive experience.Great historic setting with white tablecloths, etc. Plus 2nd the soft taco shell was soggy. Server was largely absent and gruff.

Diego's had terrific food I would recommend to anyone who enjoys Mexican!We just love this place, and go for special occasions like graduations when we are in town.Delicious food! Bread on request. The Cali burrito was amazing, including the fried it was stuffed with and the dipping sauce it came with. They have a citrus aioli that is drizzled on top and it is what set it's apart from other nachos.

Energetic and fun atmosphere and an awesome drink menu.Food and drinks are amazing! We had their nachos, the Cali burrito, and a salad with chicken and shrimp. We order the chicken nachos and pulled pork spring rolls to share. Anywhere there's huge groups of people... well, let's just say you can usually count me out. Highly recommend it.Loved the secret vegan menu!! My husband’s steak burrito was cold.
