The Town’s beaches reopened today. The ban for short term rentals has been extended through May 14th. Long-term rentals of 30 days or more are still permitted. The beach is not anticipated to close but is being patrolled to enforce social distancing. The council has now reversed that decision and the ban is set to expire Friday, May 8th. This is a frustrating and uncertain time and we are cautiously optimistic that summer travel plans will proceed.
