Our main course of Brill was undercooked in the middle and my husband’s mackerel starter was too small and not great either. Brand is first class, however I wouldn't say food quality is first class.Being visitors we were a little lost.

The service was rather slow but the waitersaddressed us by name and were friendly.A totally satisfactory experience. The hotel’s Uptown Suite is ideal for long stays or entertaining and includes a large living room with Dallas views and a dining table.

Loved the band and singer they had playing. Good to do once in a while for a special occasion, such as great uncle George's 90th birthday.Still the most beautiful room in London, though nowadays the liveried service seems not as polished as it once was.
