The greatest coach of the 20th century speaks...what else needs to be said? There are valuable lessons one can learn by reading this book.
This is an extraordinary book on leadership. Of course he would have been that gracious no matter how my name was spelled, but that was one of my great early lessons from Coach Wooden: Find a way to connect to everyone.

My first interaction with Coach was at the John Wooden day camp at Palisades High School. Prompt delivery. The second tier, consists of self-control, alertness, initiative, and intentness. Perhaps one of his many other books would be a better read, just explaining his coaching philosophy and allowing the reader to incorporate it into leadership / business, etc...We live in a time where we, society, are acutely aware of the issues that confront human existence.
